It is clear that I have over stepped my bounds here and its time for me to move on. I just want all of you to know that I am a direct result of all your positive efforts to WARN the public about Prem Rawat and for that I thank everyone here and will be forever grateful!  My petition idea was not getting your support for whatever your reasons (that I respect) so I worded it the best way I could. It also has many grammatical errors but it was too late to edit after it was already posted. By the way the petition is addressed to Members of United States Congress & the American Civil Rights Division.

My intent was to use the petition as a educational tool. To bring awareness to the "misleading forms of recruitment" because too many people eventually fall victim to brainwashing and are ultimately giving up their religious freedom, of which our country is  based on. By the way Eileen, Livia, & the other Premies that come here actually help to confirm that for me. THANKS

I am very aware of the conflicts re: the definition of a cult. I thought the one on the petition was the best definition I could find, and because of the controversy I wrote "PROPOSED DEFINITION OF CULT".

I thought what if cults like Prem Rawat's and The Church of Scientology were actually made by law to present a list of opposing web addresses, articles, testimoneys of ex-members or books at their introduction meetings. I wonder how many recruits they would lose? Look at all the pharmacuitical commercials on TV, at the end of the commercial they have to read off all the possible side effects. When a man hears that Viagra may cause a four hour erection I bet he thinks twice before asking a doctor to prescribe it! (hmmm...or he may want a double order, LOL). Anyway, I know its very farfetched to think this could actually happen but why not bring more awareness?

Anyway, my intent was not be YOUR voice as that would be insulting! All of you are doing a great job for yourselves. What you've been through and still going through is beyond any words, beyond my conception. Your courage is truly a inspiration to all.

Take Care Always,

RJ
