Dear Danny

Yes it was all unfortunate and I sincerely apologise for misunderstanding you.  I did follow your subsequent posts and began to realise that I had misunderstood the central point you made.  Now with your post to me I now see definitly what misunderstanding I had.

Thanks for clarifying things.

This subject about external influences, personal responsibility and taking it even further to personal culpability is a very difficult subject, indeed it is very subjective totally, difficult to quantify.  Instinctively I know where the lines are drawn but verbalising it is very difficult.  You have helped quite a bit on this and, to be fair, I think Livia has also made some important points.  From my own point of view I regret being influenced by much that is in the cult, I feel very pissed off with direct personal things that occured to me, particularly in the early days and increasingly now I feel anger when I hear about the enormous damage the cult have done to many.  On the other hand there was much that was enjoyable, there was much growth that occurred.  Maybe most of this was in spite of the cult rather than due by?  The main reason I left was that by becoming aware of the man behind the 'guru of the halls' (now the TV Guru) I realised that Rawat was simply not in a position to offer real guidance or tuition or whatever, rather the opposite.  Its been a long journey.

Well anyway

Onwards ...........

all the best
T
