While the enforceability of TheKeys contract must seriously be in doubt - it never the less offers an oportunity for Rawat's business managers to use legal intimidation against those they consider have broken the contract.

TheKeys contract looks horribly like an End User Licence Agreement - you know those nasty things that pop up whenever you install software on your computer - that you have 'agree' to before the stuff will work. It's also the same  model that the music biz is using to hammer 15 year old kids who copy tunes from the Internet. The point is there's some basis for the cult to argue it has rights to penalize those who break the contract - enough to allow bullying lawyers free reign to intimidate a few offenders as an example of what will happen to others.

And the underlying implication is that TheKeys are 'intellectual property' and or 'performance' [by Rawat] and therefore not open to 'fair use' criticism which involves communication of the content to others. This is the Rawat machine trying to 'secure' its future business - it's more Eversound than Elan Vital.
