Hi Joe,
I love it when the human spirit defies all your beliefs and shines through whatever bullshit happens to flying around. I was on a panel on a tv programme being made at London University, for the student TV network. There were two leftish socialists and a right wing Tory, from London County hall-I was the token anarchist. We were all having a coffee and chatting before the programme. I was shocked to find I really liked the Tory and thought the lefties were a couple of insincere bozos.
I'm just about an atheist nowadays, but I really liked the priest at the church where my folks were cremated.
Sometimes you're with someone and their humanity pops out and lifts you up. If that person is a cop, a Tory, a premie, or whatever, it doesn't make any difference at that point.
Isn't it best to take people as you find them, and make your own judgement about them, rather than label them and judge them that way?
Anth in the flesh somewhere.
