Hi Joe, Don't any of your friends tell lies? I'd guess Glen wouldn't hesitate for a second to tell a lie if he thought it would somehow help or protect Captain Rawat. As far as Glen is concerned, he is absolutely convinced that the Creator is walking around in the body known as Prem Rawat and it's his purpose to serve him in whatever way he can. Lies don't register, because Rawat is the embodiment of the Truth. He is also the Creator of the Universe that contains the creatures that see things in terms of truth and lies. Glen has gone beyond such dualities. There is only one Truth, and his master personifies it. So Joe, I don't have any problem at all with you criticising Glen for lying- in fact I'd support your criticism. I haven't discussed Rawat with Glen lately, but last time we talked about him I felt Glen hadn't really changed his view of life since about 1969. It was an incredibly fundamentalist perspective, where God and Rawat were controlling the universe. The last video I went to before I quit was an awful, boring conference Rawat held with the faithful in Malaysia. It was completely irrelevant to me in London. I couldn't understand why it was shown. I mentioned this to Glen a few days later and he said something to the effect that it was my karma, being a dodgy premie, the Lord had sent me a dodgy video as some kind of mild punishment. So, on that level, I never expect to get any sense out of Glen. He's more a museum piece. I'm not sure, but I don't think he's working for the cult any more either. Anyway Joe, maybe he'll grow out of it, like the rest of us. Hope all is well over there. Anth |
