The stuff that Glen Whitakker and Linda Pascotto say about the saris are "lies" in the context of the video, because the video is saying that "at the end of the 1970s" Rawat was getting rid of Hindu customs, and the example used in the film is "saris." That is a blatant lie no matter which Western country they are talking about. It is possible that those quotes were taken out of context, but that just makes the people who made the film, rather than Linda and Glen specifically, liars.
Tim Gallwey and Ron Geaves are just plain liars because they could not be taken out of context with respect to who, exactly, "put god" on Maharaji, and why people left the cult. The idea that it was because they were attached to Indian customs that were eliminated is simply false and both Tim Gallwey and Ron Geaves have to know they are lying about that.
Now, when it comes to people feeling "love" of, or "devotion" to, Maharaji, I am not so sure they are in fact lying. I think they may really feel those things, deluded though they may be. So I don't consider that a lie.
But even in that section, I think Gallwey and Geaves are also lying there, and knowing they are lying, for the reasons I stated above.
