along with the good dr., another brother was grabbed the same day. coincidentally he had been my best friend in high school and eventually was best man at my wedding years later. we talked a few times about the deprogramming and it was always an interesting discussion. i remember an incident at the broad ripple where a female instructor candidate was taken and missing several days. when she returned with ted patrick in tow she actually returned to the fold. caused quite a stir. the whole deprogram thing mystified me. i'm suprised my parents didn't do it. i believe they were approached at one time by my friend and former ashram roomie.
