Wow, Lexy! Thanks for writing that! You do know me. My wife is from Nepal and, at first, (like you said) I was attracted to what she was attracted to (if that makes sense). I signed up to receive electronic daily words of wisdom from Elan Vital, and read each one. Everything seemed to be clicking right along, and, with just a few more introductory videos and my punctual weekly broadcast attendance, the gift of Knowledge was gonna be all mine!
Well, things did not go according to plan. And, that is a good thing. After returning from Miami with a blistering headache (thanks to Daya's music), something inside me sensed it. Thanks to a search on Google, I stumbled head-first into EPO, totally confused and astonished that this cool dude that everyone seemed to admire at the event was, in fact, the leader of a cult.
But, you are right, even today, even after countless, bitter marital arguments, even after reading people's moving journey entries, even after knowing the truth behind Rawat, sometimes I sneak a peak at Elan Vital. I hate it, but it's true.
I hate to admit that, but sometimes the premies' reckless abandoning of everything they have ever known to accept Rawat captivates me. It's almost beautiful, in a ghastly kind of way. But, yes, I am human and as such I am prone to failure. However, this forum, and kind people like yourself always pull me back to REALITY!
Thanks, Lexy!
