Hi Pat, I would not suggest that Glen Whitaker or anyone else steal from Maharaji or his organizations. That's not the way to extract oneself from a cult. I would suggest that Glen come to his own decisions in life, as adults do, and find his own way in the world, however that works out for him. It's never easy or pain-free, but in the long run, always worth it. That takes courage and support, too. A person has to find their own courage; the support is here.
I never met Glen and don't know him, but he's told his share of lies over the years, just like the rest of us did when called upon to do it on behalf of Prem Rawat. I think it's important that premies like Glen understand that if Maharaji were a legitimate person there would be no need to ever lie. What a horrible position to place someone's student in, isn't it??? and it's so typical Prem Rawat.
There is always some way to find one's way to the truth and one of the most wonderful things about telling the truth and clearing one's conscience is how astonishingly forgiving people are when someone finally fesses up. I've seen that happen on this forum year after year after year.
I certainly would welcome him "out" should Glen ever decide to leave Maharaji and feel the need to talk. No question about it.
