It's not a big deal for me either, but my comment would be this:
Maharaji may indeed genuinely deny being God but he does apparently believe (and is supported in this belief by others) that he has some special, even unique, authority to teach what he calls 'Knowledge of that Pure and Perfect Energy' to all men.

Where did he get this authority? Or better put..where do Masters like him get their authority? I can see only two or three possible answers to this...

1) From the 'Pure and Perfect Energy' itself.
2) They are self-appointed
3) They are chosen by man.

I think I've been 'brave enough' to agree with you about Maharaji's denial.
Could you tell me which of these three possibilities you understand Prem Rawat himself believes is the truth?

I'm not being in the least cynical here by the way. I'm genuinely interested to know what he, you and maybe other premies think. Is there a consensus or is it to be forever vague?
