"I can't really believe that my integrity or honesty is any better or worse than most premies"

It's better, Lexy, for (at least) two reasons:

1. You're sharing your thoughts, feelings and ... yes, your doubts too, on a very public forum. That takes both integrity and honesty. Yes, there are some premies who have done that over the years, notably Sanford (who deserves an award for patience and perseverence in the face of opposition - while he was still a premie, if not even now!). But it seems most premies prefer to hide their doubts, and hide from them too.

2. You've exed. At least to the point of re-claiming your independence of thought/opinion. And consequently you've stopped trying to defend the indefensible. Which premies (apparently) are still obliged to try and do.

(afterthought): Though, as a one-time premie myself, independence of thought was something I prided myself on, even while kissing Maharaj Ji's feet. In fact, I thought it was what allowed me to recognise "Him" in the first place.

Careful with those ribs, now!
