based on my admittedly limited contact with premies in the last 2 decades, I have a much different impression. The people I know don't just have a "tiny bit different" way of looking at the world. They have a radically different way of viewing the world. I don't want to be overly judgemental about it, but I can at least say their way of life has often shocked and depressed me. It also stood as a confirmation to me that I made the right choice to leave the cult when I did.Rawatism may no longer be all-consuming as it once was, but it still digs its claws deep into the psyche of its adherents. It also often acts as a crutch that prevents people from maturely dealing with the inevitable problems that life brings with it.
