As I said in a post to Friend of LA EX whether people think Rawat is the Lord or think Jesus is the Lord or the Dalai Lama is the Lord it doesn't seem so radically different to me. They live otherwise normal lives and their religious practice seems pretty standard. The fact that Rawat is a pathetic scumbag doesn't really seem to matter.

I presume we know different sets of premies cause most of the ones I know are dealing with life's problems the same as everyone else, some better some worse but my perspective is less on the problems which don't seem so important round our way but on the good things of life.

While I don't know them as well I concede there is a minority of premies who are less successful and have more problems but I remember them as being the same back in the 1970's. Their association with Rawat doesn't seem to have made a difference either way.

I want to make it perfectly clear that I think Rawat is scum and the "techniques of Knowledge" worthless and stupid but the effect on peoples' lives seems to depend far more on them and the random events of life than on him. And I don't mean to "blame the victim" either, the results of the interaction vary greatly and when negative they are not the "fault" of the person involved.
