How many of those--pretty much an entire generation, as I recall--who espoused the "hippie/anarchy lifestyle" wound up wasting the best years of their lives in utter futility? Yes there were some drugs-related deaths, but yer average hippie settled down and now lives in Milton Keynes.

DLM may have directed a few--a tiny few--away from drugs and their outcome, but the overwhelming majority of premies were horrendously cheated. I see no difficulty weighing the scales.
