I didn't. So I am just wondering. I mean maybe the format was too literate for him. He would have to write paragraphs of cohesive sentences instead of just 280 character word-bite provocation.

Or was someone else doing the writing for him? Somehow that doesn't seem to fit him.

Or as you said, not enough people were reading it. But I don't believe it is because they don't read in general.

But it could be that the nature of the format was too formal for him and his readers. I mean it is all so official, from the desk of ... that he can't just link to some weird video he saw. There is a level of responsibility to what gets published there that is much higher than just retweeting something. Probably it all needs to get approved by his lawyers before going live.

Interesting when you think about it. I hadn't until I saw your post.

If this is correct, it kind of implies, in a more general way, that a lot of the weirdness that takes place on social media is exactly because of the lack of accountability. People can write whatever they want, under a fake name, or when under their real name in a way that they are probably not legally accountable as they would otherwise be.

I don't know, not exactly a legal expert on the subject. just speculating.
