As fitting as Karen's re-posting of that story is, I agree: justice delayed is justice denied. The key word is delayed. I say that because every day that passes without justice is another day he gets to wallow in ill-begotten opulence guided only by his whims. Whereas his devoted followers would likely justify it as his divine entitlement to do as he pleases in the highest level of comfort during his incarnation/manifestation, the best I could come-up with was something like self-important slothfulness: flown (probably getting too lazy and bored to spend all those hours in the pilot's seat on auto-pilot) around the world with his mistress hopping from one opulent residence to another in his coveted Gulfstream being pampered by a valet, chef, chauffers, the finest food, expensive cognac, five-star luxury suites and I can only imagine what else.

Fancying himself as an executive, humanitarian, global ambassador or whatever inflated persona he wants to try on for size, he pretends a lot; interrupted only by the occasional need to don his perfect master persona to pacify and misdirect intrusive but unavoidable devotees.

And all he has to do to maintain the support system for that lifestyle is fall back on the skills schtick he honed for nearly sixty years and speak extemporaneously for an hour or so on a subject he could mutter in his sleep at infrequent "events" impeccably arranged by and paid for by followers.

So what would justice look like for someone so self-absorbed that he has no recognition or empathy for the shattered and derailed lives he left in his wake - lives he used, manipulated and exploited to selfishly engineer such a lifestyle? He's already in a position to retire and live like a king merely off the investment income derived from other peoples' money, and it's highly unlikely that justice would ever be a result of the civil or criminal justice system. So what would justice look like?

Ruling out ants, cruelty, vindictiveness, revenge and the like, that's a lot to contemplate. What would be fair?

That question is not directed at you, 13 - just wondering out loud.
