I thought that bhakti meant the worship of a personalized or favorite God.  Based upon that definition (which I certainly could be incorrect about) DLM/EV definitely would fit into the category of a bhakti movement.  It's really always been about worship of a person:  Prem Rawat.

I'd be interested to hear your thoughts on this.
