GOK,

I write to you in the spirit of fair play, honesty and respect you've exemplified to date.  LOL!!!!!!

Many a person who tries to avoid verbal evidence does so on the basis that the words in question were taken out of context.  Often, they're simply pulling at straws.  For example, the other day, the head of the Canadian Islamic Council, which ironically scrutinizes the press for what they believe are biased comments against Muslims, himself argued on national TV that any Israeli over 18 was a fair target for suicide bombers.  At the same time, a "cleric" in a Vancouver mosque argued in one of his lectures (which he himself posted on the mosque's website) that Jews were the cousins of swine and ripe for slaughter.  Here's an article about both:

As you can read, both guys tried to claim afterwards that their words were "taken out of context".  Both haven't fooled anyone.  Their words were clear and unmistaken.  Both even uttered their words for public consumption, knowing then that they would be recorded and considered by many.  That was the whole point.

Rawat has also uttered his words for public consumption. He, too, fully appreciates and intends the impact they'll have.  Indeed, he expects his words to end up quoted again and again, as, for example, on the "Wit and Wisdom" section of ELK, where they surface from time to time.  Or in any of the PR vehicles DLM or EV have and continue to run for the past three decades.

No one's taking anyone's quotes out of context.  At least, no ex is.

But hey, you want to see who is taking a quote out of context?  It's your nasty fellow cult members, that's who!  Here, look at this defamation site put up about me:

www.jimheller.info

Maybe you yourself had a hand in this or maybe some loving friend of yours.

On that site, your fellow cult members took a joke of mine, where I spontaneously, flippantly pretended -- just for a second -- that I left the ashram only after embezzling lots of money from EV, getting caught, kidnapped, confined in the ashram basement, beaten, and only finally released when the "brothers" caught my accomplice with the dough at the bus station.  It was all a joke and, lest there be any confusion, I said so immediately. Later, when your loving fellow cult members tried to tarnish my reputation as a thief, Jack Tuff, the CC of my community back in the time in question, a current premie and certainly no friend of mine, still had the basic decency to post on the premie forum that no money was ever lost, stolen or missplaced.  There was no crime, no criminal, just a silly joke.  That's it.

So what do we have?  We have your nasty fellow cult members .... that's right, you've got it now, taking what I said out of context.  See?

Anyway, what personal details are you willing to share?  Are you willing to say if you have kids and whether or not you're brave enough to show them some of your "arguments" here?
