I feel a teeny bit guilty now Mike. The thing is cq posted that pic. way down the threads to illustrate the bloodthirstyness of the tales of the brothers Grimm. The minute I clapped eyes on this one it reminded me of being chosen for Knowledge and I laughed and laughed. It was mischievous of me but I just couldn't resist bringing it up here. Then I had to think of a topic and I think I inherited a "tabloid" newspaper mentality and although I knew it might be embarrassing I had to post that one 'cos it made me laugh again.
You personally didn't do me any harm ( the whole cutting off my arm thing did frighten me a bit but I really don't blame you)...Bunny's exactly right...we were all caught up in the mass insanity...at that time I was 19 and you were just a few years older.... in fact Bunny's and Susan's post started me thinking that the next generation up ( who raised us ) were also crazy in a different way ( traumatised by the War or whatever .
Hilltop hadn't had his morning coffee when he didn't laugh the last time this topic was mentioned.
You were and are a really sweet guy .
