I agree that if someone is going to doctor photos and then post them - they probably should not be anonymous - they should take the heat for their action - but this is a personal decision to be made by the individual.

I think it's great that there are people like John MacGregor, Mike Finch, yourself, etc etc etc who are prepared to reveal your identities and put up with the consequences. Perhaps if those consequences only affected myself, I would be more courageous too - but I won't endanger others close to me, so I made the personal choice to post under an alias.

On the other hand, you made the choice to reveal your identity, so saying it is unfair that some people don't, really doesn't make sense to me. You did stop posting here for awhile (I remember the goodbye post you made). When you came back, you could have done it anonymously, but you didn't - your choice.

All I can say is that I will remain anon as long as other people close to me are being affected by the retribution of premies as has happened in the past. I am not naive enough to believe that good will always win or right prevail. Sometimes you have to fight guerilla warfare instead of a frontal assault!
