I just picked up and read an article in (I think it was!) the current New Scientist-sorry to be so vague.

Imagine a science mag focusing on religion. Sort of correct really.

Reporter and his like's attempts at argument are so descriptive of "fundamentalism". Reporter, we all here understand, what you’re putting yourself through, we used to do it too! 

The only point I can remember at the moment from the mag is the reasercher’s observation that the one thing a fundamentalist cant STAND is...irrelevance. If you are a premie you just HAVE to matter, even if it’s only in secret.

The whole religious circus is just an attempt to matter to someone! I'l admit to that; Reporter, will you?
