There was just me plus loads of Ashram male fledgling "security" ( they weren't very convincing in those days and hadn't yet morphed into heavy duty dudes) who kept nipping into the tent to smoke dope ( I was shocked but now I wish I'd joined them as I was only 19 and could have had a good time ), then they got the munchies and ate the food. I decided the Lord must be testing me and conscientiously carried on with my guarding. Regrets, I've had a few......

I remember breakfast outside ...muesli with endless lashings of yoghurt.

I went into the city to find something different but the supermarket was wall to wall ( every texture,every flavour of every unimaginable variety ) yoghurt too. The street vending machines sold Danish Pastries ( not Coke) so I bought one of those.
