......many years ago my brother-in-law's brother gave up the booze and became a "born again" Christian of some kind. The particular Christian group he joined owned a beautiful, large residence in the seaside town where I live ,where he arrived with his wife and child for a free holiday ( didn't have to pay for the accomodation).
My cynical sister pointed out ( knowing this guy well ) that this was probably the reason he joined the Christian group.At the time I was shocked but she was probably right.
Of course Amaroo isn't free of charge........but long term premies may have many self-interested reasons ,which have nothing to do with devotion, for staying in the group.
