they argue, of course, that they don't need to go see him, they do it because they want to.mum is lately arguing that even if i'm right and the whole thing is a cult, i should look at it as them going to amaroo for a holiday. by their accounts it's a pretty place, and it seems quite well equipped.
it's like they recognise that there's something fishy but believe it would take too much work to break out of it, so they just let whatever happens, happen. (which is what the doctrine of rawatism is telling them all the time, of course, but they can't see that.)
