I don't know how I can make a clean break though, with my parents involved, that's the problem. I'm very close to them. (Codependantly close? Oh christ, this is much harder than I thought.)

It all depends how you want to look at it.  It doesn't have to be a difficult situation as you may think.  

If you decide to stop watching videos, I hope so , it would be good to simply tell them that you need/want to stop because you are not sure tor now that is what you want for yourself. 

There is nothing to discuss really.  They have been premies for so long.  How can you convince them to examine their involvement?  The years of brainwashing is too deep.  What can you say to them without hurting the family ties?  Keep the love and throw away the rest.

The father of my son told me about a year ago that it was such a shame that I came so far - loving rawat for decades- and to just have walked away seemed a total shame to him, a great loss.  I confronted him and said, even if learning to live without rawat in my life is/was going to be difficult, it was much better than dying being a cult member.  He looked at me, and with the famous premie grin he said, "that is right, maharaji said that only few would stick around to the end and I'm one of them".  What can you add to that when I myself used to think that way?  How can I argue with blind devotion?

We got what we got by having crossed path with rawat and even if we don't like it, we must deal with it. 

You have a dilema, as if you need to chose from two bad situations: Staying or leaving.  Leaving is the right thing to do, otherwise, you WILL end up asking for K, if you continue listening to him, it will happen, eventually. Curiosity gets to everybody.

Don't let the IFs or BUTs get you.  Be strong and RECLAIM YOUR TERRITORY.  You were cheated as the rest of us of much. 

Don't make it more complicated than what it is.  It would be very wrong from them to expect you to live in their shadows and don't think they would expect that from you.  I'm sure they love you very much.
