Yes Dan it does seem strange doesn't it? Most premies do not reflect a good life, a pleasant or peaceful experience nor a happy or contented life.
Yet scientists say that meditation increases alpha brain waves, slows the heartbeat, decreases blood lactate and blood pressure, all indicating deep states of rest that are apparently conducive to mental and physical health. Knowing this, it is even more disturbing that many students of Maharaji are miserable, sad and unfulfilled.
Another thing I have noticed about premies is that many are completely unethical when it comes to money. I can’t count the number of fake bankruptcies, welfare scams, and frauds I’ve seen premies carry out. I find this truly unsettling. I guess it all comes down to being told that the world is an illusion.
And I asked my 22-year-old premie daughter if she ever attends video programs. She said no because she finds most premies too old and too weird.
Back in the 70s I figured that if anyone practiced Knowledge for 30 years they would automatically become a remarkable and extraordinary human being. Kinda sad isn't it?
