Well I was considered to be a "hippie" and so I don't consider it a pejorative term, just a quick method of identity.You might have had a short and miserable time in DLM but I was enjoying those all day meditations when I got the chance, not that I could actually sit for the whole day trying to meditate but I certainly enjoyed all day satsangs otherwise I would have gone to the beach instead.
I had a family so I couldn't enter the ashram but once again the ashram premies I knew were having a good time.
It was a destructive cult in the long run but back in the 70s it seemed like it could be a path to enlightenment otherwise neither of us would have joined.
