That's what gets me, too. The most infuriating is how Rawat lies about his past. But this becomes personal, because it is my past every bit as much as it is his, and I will not stand to see him lie about it.
What is also astounding is that premies let him get away with it and don't demand that he tell the truth.
That, and calling everyone who doesn't argee with Rawat a member of a "hate group," are really galling, although the latter is mostly transparently laughable, and just makes Rawat look more ridiculous than he already does. He just looks like an arrogant cult leader who cannot stand criticism.
