We've seen Maharaji's big bad wolf legal team bluff using the DMCA before.  And if you've built your house out of straw or sticks Maharaji just might blow it down.  It does take some work to counter his DMCA action.  I know it does because I had to fight it myself.  You have to research and understand what you need to do.  And Maharaji is hoping that it is too overwhelming for you and if you do nothing he gets to shut your website down.  Wow, what a scam!

I suspect that while Maharaji is out on tour in the U.S. (e.g. Miami Dade College and others) he wants to shutdown PRMI because it is too effective in presenting the truth about Maharaji.

People, as we've seen with RJChinook, might very well go to the Internet to get more information after attending an introductory program with Maharaji.

Clearly, the Prem Rawat Maharaji Information website is the most concise and understandable website about Maharaji and his cult.  EPO is great, but with the amount of information it is unwieldy.

To me it's apparent that in this time in Maharaji's evolution that he and his inner circle minions have too much to lose to allow things like Free Speech and the Fair Use doctrine of U.S. copyright laws to get in their way.  In my opinion this DMCA attempt against PRMI is an abuse of process.

At this point as PRMI states no specific copyright violation or items has been disclosed.  However, the DMCA requires the ISP to shutdown the site until the matter is settled.  The action of shutting down the site by the ISP allows the ISP to comply with the law and to therefore avoid being a party to any further litigation.

I see Maharaji acting in a more corrupt and deceitful fashion in his final days as he ages into a very ugly old man right in front of our eyes.

Consider the creation of The Prem Rawat Foundation that makes Maharaji out to be in the same league as Bill Gates and other philanthropists who are actually doing good things.  As we've seen Maharaji's philanthropy is miserly ($10,000 for rice, providing a facility for eye doctors to provide treatment for a weekend, the tsunami relief where the money came from donors instead of from him or his foundation, etc.) and worse, it's for the publiclity.

We've seen Maharaji shamelessly exploit the United Nations emblem in his blatant copyright infringement where he pretends that he spoke at an official UN event when in reality he merely rented a hall in Thailand.

And Maharaji is conning his way to speak at colleges and universities by paying them fees and then he requires them to 'invite' him as if the faculty has invited him for his academic achievements.  That's so funny for an 8th grade dropout.

And Maharaji is conning his way into getting Keys to cities or letters or recommendation or appreciation from Govenors.

And on and on Maharji, the great teacher, the Perfect Master, the Lord of the Universe goes.

And Maharaji goes about it shamelessly.
