It seemed alluring at the time and it gave me the feeling of belonging with other people.

As years went by the emphasis was put more and more on M and less on people, so I left.

Why I stayed was both because of it being socially rewarding, but also because of fear and guilt...

Now I have lost contact with all those whom I thought were my friends/brothers/sisters...
