I gave Charlotte Hofton's article to Kevin to read and I heard him crack up laughing a couple of times.  Brilliantly done in the way it exposed the vacuous words and the non-answers.  It also raises the bigger question that if this is such a simple, great thing, why are they trying to propagate under the radar screen, for example, intentionally not let the local newspaper know about it?  Why is it all so damn controlled?

I know Rawat is a control freak, but this is ridiculous.  Plus, premies who have been gagged from talking to people about their experience of knowledge, who Rawat is, and what it's all about, seem incapable of an intelligent comment on the subject.  It's just the "feeling inside" and "I can't tell you more" mantra.

If I were Dorri Jones or her husband, I would feel duly scewered, and I'm sure Dorri Jones is a very nice, sincere person.  The problem is, she seems unable to even see the decpetion she engages in, or else she does what many of us did as premies, she justifies the means because the ends are divine.

And of course, in the end, no matter how many nice photographs, how many canned PR articles, how many clueless mayors are conned into giving proclamations, and how many cooking-show hosts are paid to "interview" Rawat, this will not work.  It won't work because it isn't genuine, it's deceptive.  And of course there is the Internet.

I would recommend to anyone who lives in a city where one of these stealth cult-promotion "art shows" with Maharaji's drivel attached occurs, to type up the name of the new website www.prem-rawat-maharaji.info and make some copies and hand it out to people.

That website is just plain excellent.  In fact, I think it's devastating to the Rawat stealth propagation endeavor.

Also, good letter Jim.  Somehow I knew you would send one.  Cynthia, did you send one too?
