In his letter to the editor, William Fox, makes a claim that I'm sure was never mentioned in the 70's. "As to the title maharaji, he is perfectly entitled to use this honorific, since he was born into an Indian royal family." If I'd known he was Royalty I would certainly have tried harder for darshan.
