ELK was the first officially cult-sanctioned website for premies. It allowed them to post their "expressions", tell their life stories and generally gush over Rawat, all in wonderfully politically-correct terms. Further, the site was a simple contact point for premies to learn the latest wonderful news in Rawat's world. Yes, there are others now too but ELK was familiar, sweet and, unlike Rawat's other sites, combined the cult's outgoing propaganda with the gushing feedback of its membership. The site co-ordinators managed their fellow sheep easily enough, so what was the problem? Could it be that the cult was made perpetually uneasy by the obvious worship Rawat received from his followers? That's my bet.
And note, it's not as if the site was retired for some reason but all those wonderful, heartfelt expressions memorialized for all to read, just because they really were so beautiful and meaningful, etc. No, it was cancelled and removed from the web as if ... as if it had all been a mistake, perhaps. Or was now, at least, an embarrassment of sorts. Removed without notice lest anyone try to save its contents.
Do premies mean anything in this formula? Anything? Anything at all?
