Yes, I noticed that line about the contractual agreement, which I hadn't noticed when I read Michael's letter 4 years ago.

But the main thing is that Michael really makes the case that if Prem really wanted to, he could get to the bottom of the whole thing with Jagdeo in no time.  But he apparently doesn't want to.
