Good to hear from you again. I agree wholeheartedly that there are different ways to see the situation.

First, my point, plain and simple, was that I objected to people (anybody) having their posts deleted simply because it didn't look like their post was up for discussion (as it appears Nik's above post to me is not up for discussion). I thought this was a petty threat and an abuse of the administrator's authority.

As regards John's situation. He has my complete sympathy and support. He charged head on at the cult, and its abuses. He's obviously been under an immense amount of pressure and this has affected him in a way I don't think any of us understand. (The image of captured US pilots confessing to murdering innocent communist women and children comes to mind.)

Anyway, whatever John's problems are at the moment, I don't think attacking or criticising him here is going to help his situation at all.

Of course his apology to Captain Rawat hurts, but in view of the circumstances, isn't it better to let it go? Maybe it's not that he can't be bothered to reply, but he's so burnt out with the whole circus, that he is simply incapable of replying. He's probably sick to his back teeth with all the shit he stirred up and he just wants out of the whole mess. And because we're involved, in some way or another, we're part of the mess too.

Anyway Jim, what the fuck do I know about it?
