You're right, it said that the number of SESSIONS grew by 300%, not the number of PEOPLE....
So, if there was one K session the year before with 30 people in it, and the next year there were 3 K sessions with 5 people in each one, the number of people was actually 50% less (15 compared to 30), although the number of sessions ( a totally meaningless number) was 300% greater(3 to 1)...
Good work in spotting it....it also shows that most people fall for the totally meaningless statistic, rather than the actual numbers...
Should someone write the PRFoundation and ask for actual north american numbers?.....if they would post the numbers, it would certainly be interesting...
