are you suggesting that the only emails John receives are from ex-premies? I'll bet he receives all sorts of other emails too. So we should take him at his word and accept his response in good faith.

My other point was about moderators abusing their position to delete posts that should not be deleted. The reason the moderator gave for threatening to delete further posts was if they were "public announcements ", not "discussions". I really don't think that the number of folk reading the forum has anything to do with this at all. I don't quite see your point here Nik.

And your suggestion that anyone who doesn't like it can fuck off and start their own forum doesn't wash I'm afraid. Although I don't contribute much nowadays, I still feel part of the forum, and I've always felt comfortable discussing the way the forum is administered here.

What's the score Nik, are you one of the anonymous administrators who feels his feathers have been ruffled? Or are you even the person who threatened to delete posts that don't seem up for discussion?
