Jim,

You notice that all of these guys try to sound "intellectual," yet their message is a convoluted pile of nothingness.  Simplicity, itself!  So why did we all fall for this?

Could it be that we were too lazy, back in our early years, to actually want to THINK our way through a problem?  Could it be we were looking for an easy way to "explain everything," vice the reality of it all?  Lowering the intellectual-bar permitted us to think we were really getting somewhere.  Yeah, if you can't explain something..... it must be "grace" or "god" or whatever.

It takes hard work, lots of coherent thought and intellectual (scientific) honesty to figure out how this danged-thang works.  The answers are never "simple" until you understand them...... THEN, they are a piece of cake.  The "work" part comes first, though!

I think that we were just too darned lazy to do it the right way in the first place.  We looked and saw the medical, scientific and technological achievements that our parents had attained and were...... well..... too lazy to learn it or too scared to learn it.  I mean, think of it..... our parents sent a man to the moon!  Einstein's general and special relativity!  Our parents were AWESOME!  Of course, I'm speaking of parents in general, I don't want to get nit-picky about evey single parent out there

WE...... on the other hand, were lazy or fearful, imho!  We were looking for the easy way out.  Open that door, and the simpletons (read that: guru's) walk in to fill that void!
