There was sexual abuse going on in that cult on many levels by different men against women and children. I'd say that's physical and psychological and worse, it was happening in a cult.  Also, the Pat Halley attempted murder.  That's pretty bad stuff to be going on in a "NRM."

The Halley incident wasn't a secret and we all rationalized it away over the years like it was just okay it happened and a good thing that Fakiranand got out of the country.  That's how it played out in the communities I was in and had contact with.  Looking back, I can't believe I rationalized an attempted murder, blaming Halle, the victim, like most premies did, for pieing Maharji with shaving cream.

All of the instructors and anyone else who held a position of authority and power within that cult have a lot to answer for because premies had to listen to them if they wanted to follow Maharaji.  The instructors held the power to pick and chose who got knowledge (selected the initiates) and did the initiating. They wielded great power over the no-name community premie (which most premies were).  Where are all the ex-instructors and ex-communitiy coordinators and ex-DLM honchos that were arond long after Davis left?  If my memory serves, communities went all ga-ga when those folks toured around the communities.

Oh yeah, I almost forgot, where are all the ex-fundraisers!  LOL!
