Addictions?.....could it be addicition that is posing as "spiritual progress", the never ending "going for that experience", "maharajis commitment to knowledge", "trying to be in that place"....etc.,..... is really a cover for the fact that without the "perfect master' or "master" persona that prem rawat had laid on him since birth, and continues to exploit, prem is a man who does not how to live happily or normally without being worshipped and adored on stage at regular intervals? At this point why does he need to go to the same old places, see the same people, with the same message? is it really his humanitarian calling, or is it rather someone, like an aging rock star or a punch drunk fighter, who just can't imagine a life for themselves without being on stage and adored in some way. I have come to pity prem rawat more than anything...he looks like one of the most "unfree" people on the planet, who does not live the simple life of happiness that he preaches....can an alcoholic really lecture us on happiness? Can a man who cheats on is wife and children really be trusted? Can a man who lies to his followers and then denies it, really be at peace with himself? Thousands of people feel he is a fraud, 90% of his western students have left him... I think he needs the western premies for money and some sort of legitimacy he is trying to create, and the indian premies to unconditionally worhsip him and remind him he is "the master"... All in all, I think he has very little going for himself other than a carefully crafted stage act and presence, a terrible PR team, and is probably a damn good pilot...off stage, i think his personal life is a disaster and a lie... |
