John MacGregor hasn't answered my email asking if he actually wrote the so-called Apology. Before I comment on it I'd like to ensure he was the author. John had recently emailed me that he was in a state of suicidal depression but had not mentioned this imminent posting. Has anyone received confirmation from him that he is the author?
Assuming he is the author has anyone else considered the possibility that the 'apology' is so absurd, ridiculous, overblown and melodramatic that it might be satire? I know that's drawing a very long bow as reading it to the very end certainly makes you feel the dead hand of depression.
I believe I can provide a much clearer overview of the situation.
