Sorry to interject on a different point but aside from whether the apology is genuine or not, if John M is suffering from suicidal depression I hope some help can be given to him from some quarter.  I don't know where he is or who knows him but I hope these posts from him and about him can prompt the people who can reach him to come to his aid.

His life is more important than whether he is apologising to Maharaji or not, as I'm sure everyone agrees and any help that he can get from any quarter will be much needed at this time.
