So long as you think there is some "higher" truth that can eclipse simple facts, and so long as you blindly accept M's line of talk, then yes, you can have peace. So long as any intrusion of facts--such as M's infidelity--can be written off as "mind", then you can have peace.
But we have a term for buying peace at the expense of honesty: we call it a "fool's paradise".
You don't really have peace, JW, just intellectual complacency. I can testify that real peace comes when you face facts.
