Why do you think your "mind" is some third-person entity?

Joy, it is just Hindu dualism that says that your mind is this separate thing from you.  I know Rawat has harped on that for years, but it's really a destructive idea.  Do you really want to live the rest of your life thinking there is this separate entity inside of you that is trying to trick you and keep you from having what you want?

If you believe in God, what kind of a screwed up, nasty, mean God would create you that way?

Actually, it is this kind of dualistic, damaging belief system that caused most of the problems for me in my life as a premie.  I mean, I was raised Catholic and there was the concept of the devil and the existence of "evil," but at least it wasn't this idea that it was hard-wired into me and I needed some kind of practice to get away from it.  No, I got that idea from Prem Rawat.

When I abandoned it, I just felt a lot more whole, a lot happier, more free, and I guess just a more integrated human being.
