Hi Jim, So many premies have come to this forum and have made the incorrect accusation that ex-premies think that the Indian bicyclist accident was a murder and we are accusing Rawat of that. I can't figure out what's so difficult to understand about the issue. No one has ever said "it was murder" and gotten away with it on this forum without a chorus of objections and subsequent explanations. It was a hit and run accident. It's strange (in an interesting way) that premies think it was okay for the Master to hit and run, accidentally cause someone's death, not face authorities (and possible consequences), but not okay for us to mention it. Maybe not so strange, given they really do believe he is their Lord. Yadot posted the smiling faces photo and the response from ex-premies was kind of predictable: We laughed and made jokes about the photos of the smiling premies! I was thinking about that thread today and it occurred to me that maybe this Yadot person doesn't realize that there's a very good chance that the ex-premies who post on this forum were probably (most likely) in attendance all at the same programs in the 1970s. Yadot behaves as if he thinks we don't know where we've been and how far we've come since leaving Rawat behind. Then we're accused of taking away premies' joy of being with Maharaji because we can laugh. That's a major disconnect in logical thinking or just simply ignorance, if Yadot never was around in the 70s. So the premies are all over the map in their thinking. One minute the "ex-premie movement" helps weed out the doubting, unlit premies and makes things better and more enjoyable for the really clear ones; the next minute they're jumping all over us for taking away their joy! You just can't win with these people!!!! Yet when faced with the chance to ask Maharaji directly about any of the issues that ex-premies bring up (and premies argue with us about) it boils down to one thing and that's that premies are terrified to question Maharaji because they do believe he is the Lord. If they are doubting, they refuse to look at the doubt out of fear of being wrong in their belief. It just too scary. Maharaji has developed a strong sense of self-preservation in the premie world by being unquestionable. My new speculation is that Prem Rawat has (or is) embarking on a whole new episode of Master worship. It's probably going to be much more secretive than during the days of the malas, but I do think it's happening. He gave more than one Knowlege Review in L.A. Those are the most secretive (and tightly screened for attendence) sessions between Master and premie. Also, the premies that came back from the program and posted here this week have been pretty clear about who and what they think Maharaji is. But, the most telling remark of the day, IMO, is below where Jonx replies to NevilleB: (NevilleB) Claiming to be a satguru and perfect master. Claiming omniscience. Claiming he is the source of grace. (Jonx) Prove he's not. . Modified by Cynthia at Fri, Jan 28, 2005, 23:00:47 |
