After 1983 I continued to live in East Dulwich but moved to Dog Kennel Hill estate for two years where I was continually burgled even though I had nothing left to steal.  The flat was a friend's council flat which she rented .

Marion lived on the Dog Kennel Hill Estate with her 3 kids ( remember ? ). I think she's still there . I saw her about six years ago.

Mary and Tony moved down South ( spoke to them fairly recently and saw Andrew at Nottingham prog. with Richard...I told you... ) I had forgotten about Ray the milkman and Gina but I know they moved away. Irish Ray still lives near the P.O.P  as you know. Saw Lyn ( Ex- Saaf  London Co-ordinator and my " premie" boss ) in Paris ( 2000 ) at a programme, she looked great. I always liked her a lot . Saw Sherron about 2 years ago when she stayed at mine. Saw Hilda and Aidan a few years ago, living in a New Town. Could go on and on....still feel a bit like the Saaf - East London Co- Ordinator ( I had completely forgotten my illustrious title !! ) They were my own flock and I watched over them and led them back to the fold if they strayed ! Oh, Dave , you didn't mention Helen...I saw her quite a few years back.

Anyhow I suppose this isn't Open Forum Stuff, though you never know who might be reading and feel inspired to dare to post here !

I definitely DO have some warm and good memories of that time but as you say, they are mostly connected to the ordinary premies and the sense of community and friendship we had between us. I suppose the more " spaced out " ( independent from Divine Light Mission ) we were the closer and more real the friendships became...maybe...although Lyn was more or less a honcho but a real good friend to me. Guess Londoners are just friendly ain't they ?!

Loads of details to tell you . I'll get around to emailing or private messaging as soon as I can , cos this may be getting boring for everyone else !

I met cq on this forum. I don't fink ah knew 'im back then 'cos 'ee wuz Norf London wern' ee. 'Ee lives in the Norf Pole naa.

No, I have to say, I definitely had some good times and I  learnt

a lot as a premie, for that I am grateful, and all in spite of our divine all - knowing teacher and his efforts ,apparently , to control us !

Isn't that the most fantastic view ,from the top of Dog Kennel Hill looking down towards the Palace of Peace and over the whole of  South London.
