> Ironically, if he had come clean way back then his presentation of himself might be remarkably similar to what is currently in place today: a humanitarian leader bringing a message and method of peace to mankind. And he certainly would not have the legion of detractors that he has today raining on his charade.<

Yes but he also wouldn't have a $45 million jet all to himself, let alone the numerous properties and other mega toys. The only thing that stopped the mass of faithful from asking serious questions for so long was the belief that Rawat was divine, was acting in the interests of  all of humanity and that there really was some kind of spiritual pay off from practising K.

Those extra years of enforcing the devotion served to make thousands of premies life time bonded to Rawat in a way that would not otherwise have been possible - and it is that life time bonding that has paid for Rawat's lifestyle.

Premies don't support Rawat's luxury addiction because they believe he's a humanitarian leader - they do so because they know he is 'the one'.
