your Grace is overflowing.

I love you my Lord,

You are all knowing.

Am I getting close or do I need more clues? Anyway....

Master, Maestro, Teacher, Sage, Satguru, same words that express certain, specific qualities, that btw, can only be assessed by a student. (That is why for you he is not any of that, but it is for me.)

No, sorry, they are not the same words as are in your first post, at any rate. You were originally responding to a direct question i.e. “How do Premies see Prem Rawat now…really? “ With “ really” being the operative word. That’s why I asked you to be more honest about it because reading your initial response suggested that, yes, there’s something going on relationship-wise ( friend, teacher..) but it wasn’t all-consuming or intense nor did it convey that the “friendship” was more akin to reverence, adulation or adoration.

Your response to me was a little bit more honest, peppered as it was with stuff like “Master” “ Satguru” “devotion…feeling….superlative one “ “ love and gratitude”. It begs the question, though, if this superlative feeling of devotion, love and gratitude is the answer to the “really” aspect of the original question then why not come out with it immediately? I’d argue that you are ( perhaps subconsciously) following the lead of your highly deceptive Master. After all, he’s said himself (and also sanctioned various lies and propaganda )that past, weird expressions of over-the- top adoration had nothing whatsoever to do with him. People just misunderstood him, sort of thing. Yet just above us on this forum are examples of past programs where we all “ Bholi shri Satguru dev’ed” till the cows came home and where he milked the worship for all it was worth. Basically, the man is just a liar and a deceiver when air-brushing facts from history in order to appear “ respectable” to, for example, the latest Business mags that he pays and/or cajoles to obtain a propaganda puff piece journalistic write up and to the general public at large, that he tries to scoop into his orbit.

Anyway, no mate, “ friend” does not chime with “ Master, sage, Satguru” and does not express the "same, certain, specific qualities”. Far from it. A Master may or may not be your friend but that is by the by.

Also, in your post to me, you’re expressing much more exaltation than you did in your first response. That also begs another question. How come this didn’t fly off your tongue immediately? After all, a Master is far more than a friend but the first word you used was friend and you didn’t follow it up with any “ superlative” add-ons either. I reckon that’s because you’re restrained and constrained by your Master. As the head of a personality cult he decides just how far his devotees express their real thoughts and opinions. Very convenient for him but it must be a little frustrating for those who’d rather shout their feelings of devotion from the roof-tops, so to speak.Ok, I had to badger out a more accurate appraisal of him from you but...

C'mon now, you can be honest here.....scratch beneath the surface and nothing's really changed, has it? Nahh, we all know the score.
Scratch beneath what surface? Are you guys stuck in a "ex" cult that you have your own language and speech modes?

Outer trappings of devotion? Oh man! there is no such a thing. Devotion is a feeling and a superlative one. Maybe you were refering to external expressions of devotion? If that is the case, I think that the most I can ask for nowadays is to send him an email or to talk to him in person to express the love and gratitude that I feel. Yes, Ma'm I do.

“ Scratch beneath the surface” is easily understood and I’m sure you know it. The “ surface” is what I was referring to above. The “normal and respectable” image that Prem is at pains to convey to the outside world to the point of genuinely lying about his past. Not for him, adoring devotees such as yourself letting the general public know what you really think and feel about him; Not for him, being carried on a throne in a field dressed in a Mala costume and wearing a “ginormous” bejewelled crown; not for him, sitting on a throne as long queues of fawning worshippers pass by to kiss his feet; not for him, mahatmas and initiators expressing mind-blowingly, over-the-top expressions of abject surrender as he watches on grinning and smirking; not for him, conducting very weird “ training” sessions where he castigates his most ardent devotees and calls them hateful assholes or whatever insult he feels like, at the time; not for him, having his wife sit at his feet on a public stage calling him God in person and worthy of worship as our collective father; No none of that is for him as it would look too much like a deranged and perverted cult of personality far removed from the world of a thoroughly sussed and modern “ motivational” speaker.

Yes, perhaps the most you can do at the moment is send an email or talk to him and express your love and gratitude. My point was that if he ever decides to revert to the outer trappings I’ve mentioned above then you and a host of others would embrace it like a shot. Meanwhile, people like me who say that such stuff has gone on, and possibly could go on again, are called liars at worst and deluded at best, when the plain, simple, obvious fact is that the whole structure of the “ world” he cons people into is based solely on venerating him as the Master cum Teacher cum friend cum whatever it’s PC to call him at any given time. Excuse the long sentence: )

You see, it likes this. If Prem were to say:

“ Look folks, I propagate feeling good by accepting me in your life. I dig being looked up to and especially like being obeyed, I dig it when people chortle at my jokes, I really get off on people reading things into the banalities I come out with. I travel the world creating an atmosphere in halls and stadiums …….quiet attentive attendees, subdued spacey music, then finally my entrance and about an hours worth of simplistic discourse delivered with absolute authority….and in the lobby you can purchase any number of things to increase my coffers. Tapes, vids, mags, whatever. You can also subscribe to STV and hear me prattle on and on there, too. The more I speak and repeat the same old stuff the more you can dig me and the more products I can churn out. It’s not too threatening or anything. I won’t ask you to drink poison or go out and do outrageous things, nothing like that. It can be all kept superficially low key and out of the public eye. I provide Meditation techniques but we don’t call them that now. Soon there’ll be some special “ key” steps so I can introduce my personality in a methodical step-by-step manner. I’m going to call them “The Keys”.Nothing too heavy. The basic thing to grasp is it’s a “ personality cult”. I propagate my personality and if you like me ,then follow me and if you don’t ,then walk”.

Then at least that would be a truly honest description of the goods on offer. People could then discuss the pro’s and cons of investing time and energy in a personality cult. He doesn’t say that, though, and probably never will. It’s all a deceptive con.

Lastly, you seem to think you know what Maharaji is capable of. But you don't. Simply you don't. You don't have a clue!

Of course I know what’s he’s capable of. Some of it I’ve described in this post.

As for your web link to pics of happy, smiling people. What’s that supposed to prove? All personality cult have equally happy looking adherents. I could rattle off loads of pics from various personality cults…..there are so many of them, it’s just that you and I have been or are still are involved in this one. I don’t get it…are you saying this personality cult is somehow different from the countless others?
