By virtue of you taking a prominent role in a public campaign to obstruct Maharaji from helping people know this wonderful aspect of themself, it is a no-brainer that you never really understood what Maharaji was about. Sorry my friend, just stating the obvious. But equally, by virtue of the same fact, it is a no-brainer that I completely understood what Maharaji was about. Sorry my friend, just stating the obvious. Actually, by remaining anonymous, I can't say if you are my friend or not, since you deny you are the person I am pretty sure you are. You still have not answered my question: Why are you anonymous? You must understand that it looks bad to an objective outside observer - it looks like you have something to hide, or are afraid to step out into the spotlight, or don't really have the courage of your convictions. I don't think this, but you must accept that remaining incognito does dilute what you have to say. To devote your worldly talents to that which is dear to the heart brings no greater joy. If you could find me a better investment than the heart, I would surely take you up on it. But I dare say you won't be able to. Ah yes, I too believed this line, and spoke it myself, for many years - that Maharaji's Knowledge is 'an investment in the heart'. Unfortunately, no one, specially Maharaji himself, could define what he meant by 'heart' other than a soft, cudley, fuzzy new-age concept. I am a strong believer that it is worthwhile to investigate one's own consciousness in an experiential way - let me be generous and presume that that roughly equates to your usage of the word 'heart'. Where we obviously disagree is that Maharaji's Knowledge is a way to do that. Let's just agree to respectfully disagree - I don't think anyone here is going to persuade you to change, and I certainly am not going to change (I have been satsanged by experts since I publicly left Maharaji!). As for your challenge "I dare say you won't be able to" - I agree I don't think I would be able to with you, since your world-outlook and self-image are clearly constrained and directed by Maharaji. Why did you devote your talents to him for 30+ years if it was such a waste? That's a long time for a responsible man to waste. That is a good question. The truthful answer is that I don't know, and I would dearly like to know. Thanks for considering me 'responsible'. -- Mike |
