I used to hold that view about all actions being ultimately selfish but I no longer do. I think to hold that view means redefining the word selfish. OK, really good people may have to do good stuff because to not do them would make them feel bad, but I don't believe their motivation is to avoid feeling bad. Anyway, I'm not beating myself up about this, at least no more than normal!
